I had just woken up from my afternoon nap. I walked to the bathroom dazed and brushed down my tangled brown hair. The sun was setting as i walked down the street to my friend ,Lewis', house. I took the short cut down the alley like i usually did. There was a strange noise coming from farther up. There it was again, like music ,but softer and sweeter. Involuntarily, I took a step forward. As I did this someone grabbed me. They pulled me back and covered my mouth.
"Shh, Do you want to get yourself killed?" They said. I peeked upward ,I couldn't see them clearly in the shadows. I knew by the voice and hands it was a boy. The music that had begun so sweet and beautiful was now a loud and hideous roar. I felt the boy holding me back tense up. "So, It's here for you ,huh?" He muttered under his breath.
I quickly found what was creating the horrible sound i was hearing. It walked back on two legs, Only in no way did it look human. It seemed closer to a T-Rex than anything. It skin was jet black and looked slimy with tar. There was no eyes on it's face just a large row of teeth that seemed to encircle it's hideous head.
"Sorry about this." The boy said. With that my eyes were getting heavier, The boy, the monster, the alley all disappeared. I was falling. I woke up in a hospital room. Only no one was there and the room was silent. I sat up and made my way to the door.
"And, Where do you think you're going?" The familiar voice from the alley said. I spun on my heels shocked by the sudden noise. Sitting on a black leather chair was a boy. He looked about 17. He had jet black hair the slightly curled around his face. His face was the opposite of his hair, his skin was an icy pale. He looked up at me, his eyes were blazing. They were a dark blue ,almost black, with a rim around the edges as gold as the sun. His eyes reminded me of a solar eclipse.
"Who are you?" I asked.
"Daemon." He replied.
"Don't you want to know my name?"
"Sure, I really care." He said his voice dripping with poisonous sarcasm.
"That was rude," I muttered. ", Fine then, I'll just leave."
"Give me my shirt back then." He said with a deadly smirk. I looked down and realized i was wearing a long T-shirt that covered me like a mini dress.
"Fine, You want me to stay, I will!" I said agitated.
"Hey, hey, Don't be like that." He said holding me his arms resting on my collar bone.
"Why am I not supposed to leave?" I asked. "And, can you let go of me?"
"Well I need to explain somethings and you need to answer a few questions." He said. His smile faded and he got serious. "What did you see?" He asked dead serious.
"Um, I don't know it looked like a T-rex but I'm certain it wasn't."
"It was a demon ,Idiot." He returned to his arrogance. "Now since you answered like that you're coming with me."
"Wha-?! Where are we going?!" I demanded.
"You're going to go see The Elders."
